Q: When will your next book be released?
A: Hazardous Environment will be released in December.
Q: Will there be anymore books after Unstable Environment or
in your Werecheetah Coalition series?
A: Yes! In fact, Hazardous Environment will be the second
book in my Werecheetah Coalitions series. It was previously
released as Seduction on the Prowl, which means there will be
significant changes with this new book. I'm planning to have
at least three books in the series with Dangerous
Environment (release date is Spring 2012) being number
three. Whether there will be a fourth and fifth is up in the air.
But let's just say I've laid the groundwork for plenty of
material to come.
Q: Will there be anymore books in the Bittersweet series?
A: I don't know. I have so many projects lined up that it's
hard to fit in a date for another book. But, there's a good
chance that I will revisit Phaedra at the Hub to see how she's
doing. Let's hope she's not blowing things up with her
telekinetic powers. Detention can be "hell" in a school for
those who've been touched by the supernatural--hint hint.

MARCIA COLETTE
Embracing the creepier side of writing.
Q: Will there be anymore books in your Alexa York series? It is a series, right?
A: Yes. The next book in the Hunting Club series--I've finally choosen a series name for it!--will be called Skinned, but it'll focus
on Alexa's sister Genevieve. I consider it a part of the series because Genevieve is of the same blood (so to speak) as her sister.
Also, Half-Breed is considered the first book, though it took place more than four years prior to Matt and Alexa meeting in
Stripped. So, at some point, I'll be revising Half-Breed and publishing it through Dusk Till Dawn Books. As for Alexa, she's not
done yet. And depending upon how Genevieve is received, she won't be either.
Q: Dark Encounters is a weird urban fantasy series because the books are written in the same world, but with different
protagonists. Tell me more.
A: LOL! I like the way you put that. It is a "weird" series in that I like to try new and different things. So rather than have a series
that follows the same character throughout, these characters will crossover and not necessarily in a good way. For now, the two
in the series are The Spider Inside Her and Deadlier by the Dozen. Human Wreckage will be released in Spring 2012.
Q: Will Unstable Environment be released in e-book?
A: That's up to my publisher. But every email you send me, I'll be forwarding to Parker Publishing, LLC. in an effort to make that
happen.
Q: Why aren't your books available in bookstores?
A: That's not up to me. Half Breed is in ebook only, so no hope there. Not yet, anyway. As for the others, they're available online
at places like Amazon and Barnes and Noble. Also, they're distrubuted by Ingram Books, which means any bookstore could order
them for you.
Q: Do you do any booksignings?
A: Yes! Take a look at the page footer. That's where I'll be making appearances (those with * aren't confirmed yet), and you can
bet I'll be signing books at those venues. If I decide to have a signing outside those places, check out my home page under the
News section and my blog for the details. I LOVE signing books and meeting readers. In fact, I have my best coversations with
readers. Just don't get scared if I get a little overexcited. Seriously, Wayne, Nikkie, PJ, Gannon, and Kathy are just a few of the
cool folks I've met while on the book trail.
Q: Are you active on Social Networking sites?
A: I have Twitter and Facebook accounts, but as for being active, I'm not like most writers. Also, I have a full-time job and a
toddler, so that cuts into a lot of my socializing. I'd like to be able to do blog tours, join group blogs, and have a grand ol' time, but
it's just not possible. Any extra time I have, I spend it writing my next book.
Q: What do you do for fun?
A: You mean when I'm not writing? I'm using my little girl as an excuse to hangout at places like Monkey Joe's and swinging on the
swings at the park. Oh, and when she's old enough, you bet we're going to be hitting up a LOT of movies. I'm just not sure they'll
be rated R or even PG-13 for that matter. When she turns 8, I'll reevaluate.
Q: Where do you get your ideas?
A: Honestly, it's whatever comes to mind. Sometimes, it could be something I'm reading or watching on TV and an idea will pop in
my head. Trust me, I wish I could dream up a million-dollar idea like Stephanie Meyer, but my brain just doesn't work like that.
Q: Can you read my manuscript or give me a blurb?
A: Unfortunately, no. This goes back to the answer for a previous question. My days are pretty much filled with working a full-time
job, my munchkin, and writing.
Q: Can I have a free book?
A: No. But...I love running contests, where you have the chance to win one. I'll be sure to announce any contests on my home
page in the News section and on my blog.
Q: Other than your blog, Facebook, Twitter, and conventions, what are some other ways I can reach you?
A: Feel free to email me at mc(at)marciacolette(dot)com.
Don't forget to check out my bookshelf. Have a great day!
